hex_files is a Harry Potter RPG, focused on the characters and events during the years of the Voldemort Wars. You can read more about the game here and here. All interested parties should also check out the current character list.

Applications are now open!

During January of 1980, Sibyll Trelawney submitted three items in application for the position of Divination Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. These three items included a Letter of Application, References, and her Family Tree. All items were sent to Hogwarts Headmaster Albus Dumbledore.

The Letter of Application was written on a large piece of parchment and appears to have been stored tightly rolled for years; keeping the fragile parchment unrolled and readable is a challenge.

The References were typed on a smaller sheet of parchment and included the testimonials of three individuals. Trelawney also included a brief, handwritten note on the parchment, indicating additional references could be produced if required.

Trelawney also choose to send a copy of her Family Tree as part of her application for the post. In light of her Letter of Application it appears she made this choice to emphasize her connection to the famous Seer Cassandra Trelawney.
